SpO2 Tracking and a Larger AMOLED Display are now available on the Redmi Watch 2

The new Redmi smartwatch, which is the successor to the original Redmi Watch, has a larger AMOLED display than the previous model’s TFT screen. On Thursday, the new Watch 2 was unveiled alongside the Redmi Note 11 series. The Redmi Watch 2 has a battery life of up to 12 hours.

The small bezels on the Redmi Watch 2 are supposed to deliver a better viewing experience than the Redmi Watch from last year. It has a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 63.7 percent. The Redmi Watch 2 has an improved list of sensors that help give heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) tracking, and sleep analysis, as well as 100 watch faces and always-on display support. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou are all supported by the watch for tracking running and outdoor exercises.

On the Redmi Watch 2, Redmi has included support for 117 fitness modes, including 17 professional workout styles. The smartwatch also has Xiaomi AI Assistant for smart controls, as well as NFC support. According to the manufacturer, the new watch has an updated low-power utilization processor that works in tandem with a new battery management algorithm to provide up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. The smartwatch comes with a new magnetic charger and is water-resistant to 5ATM.

The price of the Redmi Watch 2 has been set at CNY 399. (Roughly Rs. 4,700). Starting November 11, the smartwatch will be released in China in Black, Blue, and Ivory dial colors. Brown, Olive, and Pink strap colors will also be available. The Redmi Buds 3 Lite, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 99 (approximately Rs. 1,200) and will be available in China starting on Thursday.
