Piaggio India has introduced the updated Aprilia SR 160 range in India, with prices starting at 1, 17,494. (Ex-showroom Pune). It costs about 10,533 more than the previous model. The updated Aprilia SR 125, which is priced at $1,075,595, was also unveiled (ex-showroom Pune). Customers can pre-book the updated Aprilia SR 160 for a token amount of 5000 at all authorized dealerships all over India, as well as online through the company’s official website. White, Blue, Grey, Red, and Matt Black will be available in the new SR 160 range.
The Aprilia SR 160 has received extensive upgrades, including a redesigned front end with a new headlamp and apron. It now has a new LED headlight that replaces the halogen unit on the previous model, giving it a more upscale appearance. The handlebar cowl has also been redesigned, with air-scoop-like recesses.
The same 160 cc, the air-cooled, three-valve engine continues to produce 10.84 bhp at 7600 rpm and 11.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The scooter has an 11-liter under storage capacity, a USB charger, a boot light, and a 6-liter fuel tank. It also gets a fully digital device console, similar to the Aprilia SXR 160. The cluster displays RPM, mileage, average speed, top speed, fuel level, odometer, and time, among other things. The sporty scooter retains the outgoing model’s telescopic forks up front, mono-shock at the rear, and front disc with single-channel ABS, 14-inch alloy wheels.
